Series consists of issues of a magazine devoted to classical music and opera in Canada with international coverage. Articles focus on conductors, soloists, orchestras, choirs, reviews of performances and recordings, and topics such as music for people with special needs and musical instruments in medieval art. The series contains a complete run of the magazine that first appeared under the name of Music Magazine with vol. 1, no. 1 (1978), was renamed Classical Music Magazine in vol. 14, no. 3 (July 1991), and changed its name to Opus in 1999 following the purchase of the magazine by the Warwick Publishing Group.
