Series consists of newspapers and published guides. The records in this series are primarily single issues of Toronto newspapers from the late 1800s and early 1900s including "The Evening tribune", "The Globe", "The Liberal", "The Mail", "The Toronto world", "The Toronto standard", "The Daily telegraph", "The Herald", "The Toronto daily express and general commercial advertiser", "The Empire", "The Evening telegram", "The Toronto star" and "The Globe and mail." Also included are issues of "Hush free press", "Justice weekly", "The Canadian watchman" and the "Canadian Presbyterian". Other publications in this series are copies of Toronto guidebooks and sheet music.
