Series consists of materials documenting significant activities in which Gutsell participated after his retirement from York University. These include SSHRC travel grant applications to attend ICA events, and correspondence pertaining to Gutsell's editorial efforts with the ICA Newsletter. Series also includes correspondence and drafts related to a tribute to J. B. Harvey, a well known figure in cartography, that was published in Cartographica, as well as correspondence and text for Gutsell's speaking engagement at a conference for the North American Cartographic Information Society (NACIS).
