Series consists of materials documenting Gutsell's involvement with the various professional organizations, such as the Canadian Cartographic Association (CCA), Canadian Federation for Cartography (CFC) and Canadian Institute for Surveying (CIS). Gutsell participated in the establishment of the CCA, which later recognized him for his contributions to cartography. However, much of the material in the series documents Gutsell's relationship with these organizations in his role as a publisher and editor for Cartographica.
