Series consists of incoming and copies of Gutsell's outgoing correspondence during Gutsell's tenure as publisher and editor of the journal and after the transfer of copyright and ownership to the University of Toronto Press. The correspondence document Gutsell's efforts to promote the journal, especially at the beginning, and other administrative aspects with his association with the U of T Press, including advertising, copyright and permissions. Series also contains correspondence regarding reader responses to issues, the publication of articles and issues, and the establishment of an editorial board.
