Series consists subject files created by Thomas' students beginning with a graduate class on Canadian Women Writers (1975/1976). The files contain material pertaining to the work of forgotten or ignored writers including Lily Dougall, Marshall Saunders and Mary Anne Sadlier among others as well as copies of the students' essays. The class of 1975 was the first course in Canada to deal exclusively with Canadian women writers.
