| Scope and Content: | Series consists of correspondence, lectures, reviews and promotional materials generated from the 1920's to 1995. The correspondence includes letters, cards and memos sent to Whittaker and copies of letters sent by Whittaker to various persons. The personal papers include telegrams, eviction papers, returned cheques, a certificate of employment and resignation. There are copies of lectures and speeches given by Whittaker in his capacity as literary critic and copies of reviews including drafts, doodles, drawings and type written reviews and published and unpublished interviews. Promotional materials include cards, newsletters, posters, exhibition materials, theatre magazines and brochures acquired during his course of activities as critic, designer and director. | |
