Biographical Sketch/
Administrative History:
Albert Edward Taylor (b. 1864), lawyer and judge, was born in Bowmanville, Ont. and was called to the Bar in 1888. He practised law in Aurora, Ontario (1889-1904). He was named a junior judge of Lambton County, Ontario (1904) and senior judge (1920). He was also a member of the Sarnia Police Commission.
Scope and Content:

The fonds consists of letterbooks of Albert Edward Taylor for the period, 1892-1901 when he was practising law in Aurora, Ontario.

Custodial History: This material was deposited in the York University Archives by Edward Phelps, Librarian, University of Western Ontario, in August, 1984. He, in turn, received them from Edward J. Brodgen, of Sarnia, Ontario.
