| Biographical Sketch/ Administrative History: | Robert O'Dell Roche (1915-1988), politician and salesman, was an Alderman for North York, Ward 8 (1970-1976), and a campaign manager, fundraiser and administrator for the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. He served as vice-president of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario (1964-1968) and was a campaigner and fundraiser for several Ontario provincial politicians including Dalton Bales and Bette Stephenson. In private business, Roche was a representative for Zippo lighters. |
