Charles Nesbit (b. 1736), a Scottish-born American, was educated at the University of Edinburgh and the College of New Jersey (Princeton). He became principal of Dickenson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Scope and Content:

The fonds consists of a leather bound handwritten collection of essays by Charles Nesbit, 'Lectures on logic,' delivered in April-August, 1791, presumably at Dickenson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Custodial History: Material was purchased in 1968.
