| Biographical Sketch/ Administrative History: | Robert Dennis Cuff (1941-), educator and author, is a professor of history at York University (1978- ). Formerly, he taught at the University of Rochester (1967-1978) where he specialized in business-government relations and Canadian-American relations. He is co-author and editor of several works including 'Enterprise and national development (1971), 'The War Industries Board: business-government relations during World War I,' (1973), 'Canadian-American relations in wartime: From the Great War to the Cold War,' (1975) and 'An American history reader,' (1988). J.L. Granatstein, historian and author, is a member of the York University History Department. He is the author of several works on Canadian military and political history, including 'Sacred trust? Brian Mulroney and the Conservatives in power,' (1986), 'Pirouette: Pierre Trudeau and Canadian foreign policy' (1990), and studies of Mackenzie King. |
