Biographical Sketch/ Administrative History: | Montarville Boucher de la Bruere (1867-1943) was a journalist, archivist and author. He succeeded his father as editor of the "Courier de Saint-Hyacinthe," (1895-1903), and also worked on "La Minerve," "La patrie," and "Le devoir." He also served as head of the Archives of Canada at Montreal, beginning in 1914. |

Fonds consists of a single letter from Frederick Debartzch Monk, Conservative Party member of the House of Commons and Minister of Public Works in the Borden government to Boucher de la Bruere on political questions of the day (1911). |
