| Biographical Sketch/ Administrative History: | Montarville Boucher de la Bruere (1867-1943) was a journalist, archivist and author. He succeeded his father as editor of the "Courier de Saint-Hyacinthe," (1895-1903), and also worked on "La Minerve," "La patrie," and "Le devoir." He also served as head of the Archives of Canada at Montreal, beginning in 1914. |
