Biographical Sketch/ Administrative History: | Terence William Barker was a teacher and ’minister’ in the Jehovah Witness Church in Toronto (1962-1972), and later joined the Process Church of the Final Judgement. At Magdalen College, Oxford University, he conducted studies on apocalyptic sects and gnosticism. The Process Church was founded in 1963 as a prophetic sect under the leadership of Robert de Grimston, and was virtually defunct by 1978. |
