Biographical Sketch/ Administrative History: | The Association of Cultural Executives was founded in 1976 as a voluntary organization. Its purpose is to encourage the development of professional cultural executives in Canada and to manage Canada’s cultural resources. It has both individual and associate memberships, produces the newsletter ’ACE news,’, the quarterly, ’Management matters,’ and the annual, ’Arts administration and cultural management programs in Canada’. |

The fonds consists of documents pertaining to the Association of Cultural Executives such as letters patent, minutes and by-laws, correspondence and papers, financial records, reports, and printed material. |
