| Biographical Sketch/ Administrative History: | Bruce William Powe, writer and educator, was born in Ottawa, Ontario on 23 March 1955. He moved to Toronto in 1959 and remained there. He graduated from York University with a BA in English in 1977 and received his MA from the University of Toronto in 1981. In addition to several published works, Powe has written reviews, essays, articles and stories for journals, magazine and newspapers in both the United States and Canada. He has been a professor of English and Humanities at York University since 1989 and was Academic Advisor at Winters College from 1996-2000. | ||||||||||||

Fonds consists of diaries, journals, professional and personal correspondence, manuscript drafts and other material that documents Powe's career as a writer and educator. The fonds is arranged into the following series:
