A German Translation


(41)Eine kleines Stuckchen Blau (13 stories). Translated into German by Annemarie and Heinrich Boll and by Reinhard Wagner. Claassen Verlag, Hamburg and Dusseldorf, 1971. Set of page proofs, printed on rectos only. Finished copy, with Levine's autograph signature on the fly-leaf. Levine states that Annemarie and Heinrich Boll, in addition to translating five of the stories, heavily revised the other translations, which had been found unsatisfactory.
